Sovereign Transport is a Uk company that has gone from strength to strength. Starting with one vehicle, 23 years ago, they now have 110 vehicles and 140 staff, moving freight across the UK and Europe.
Sovereign Transport have teamed up the Owen McVeigh Foundation. This is a Merseyside based charity that helps children and their families who are suffering with cancer. For the first time in 23 years of trading, Sovereign Transport have given names to their trucks.
They have started naming trucks in honour of the boys and girls who are going through tough times with their illness. Hopefully knowing a truck is out there with their name on can give them a little boost, and even better getting to see them once they are well enough.

THE BRIEF
STS came to us in 2020 as they wanted to modernise the look of their fleet. They had seen, and liked, the work we had been doing with other fleets and recognised iBrand Signs as a leader in vehicle wrapping in the North West.
Having received a vague brief from the client ‘we want them to look modern and eye catching’, Ian set about working on visuals.
Ian took much pride in working on the new design for the cab wraps, initially an MAN cab, and after many hours and a few drafts came up with the current design. To this day this is still Ian’s favourite wrap design and he continues to adjust the design for the various cabs – Scania, Actros and DAF’s. Not willing to let anyone else work on ‘his baby’.
When deciding on what media to print the STS graphics we needed a conformable wrapping media that would print vibrant colours consistently. We decided on Arlon Fusion and printed with Latex inks and finished with a gloss laminate. The graphics are then trimmed and prepared by the wrapping team and applied by our experts at iBrand Signs. Every vehicle wrap is overseen by Mike Parker our Head of Wrapping, with Ian still running an eye over every STS cab that leaves our wrapping bay!

No, the vinyl films we sell have a non-permanent adhesive that makes the vinyl wrap removable.
DO VEHICLE GRAPHICS DAMAGE THE VEHICLE?
No, vehicle graphics don’t damage the vehicle.
Graphics actually help to protect the paintwork which is resistant to rain, sunlight, dirt, debris, and other common outdoor hazards.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO WRAP MY VEHICLES?
The length of time to wrap a fleet vary by number of cars and design complexity. At iBrand Signs we will discuss your project management and timeline. We have to consider… vehicle prepping, the size, film coverage, and surface complexity. When quoting for your vehicle you will receive an estimated timeframe.
CAN WRAPS BE TAKEN OFF A VEHICLE?
Our vinyl wraps and vehicle graphics can be removed, providing the correct techniques and equipment are used. You may wish to do this if you are selling your vehicle or returning it to the lease company.
